CANDIDATE PRIVACY
Your application data, handled with purpose.
This notice explains what we collect through the ChipNotion careers portal and how the hiring team uses it.
Notice version 2026-07-22 · Updated 22 July 2026
What we collect
We collect the information you enter in the application form, the CV you upload, the role you apply for, and the time the application is submitted.
How we use it
We use this information to assess your application, communicate with you about recruitment, and manage the hiring process.
Where it is stored
Applications are stored in ChipNotion's recruitment system. When the company Google Drive connection is enabled, the application summary and CV are filed once under the relevant job in the restricted recruiting workspace. The candidate index uses a shortcut to that same application rather than storing another copy.
Email notifications
After a successful submission, ChipNotion may email a receipt to the address you provided. It contains your name, role, application reference, submission time, and next-step guidance; it does not contain or attach your CV, motivation message, phone number, or profile links, and it is not a hiring decision. ChipNotion may separately send its restricted recruiting mailing list a limited alert containing your name, role, application reference, submission time, and a protected admin link. The applicant receipt never contains the admin link. Google Workspace processes the recipient addresses, message content, and delivery metadata needed to deliver these emails.
Fraud and abuse protection
When applicant email confirmations are enabled and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise is available, Google processes request and browser information, including the IP address and user agent, and returns a risk score used only to protect the automatic receipt from abuse. The score is never used to assess your suitability for employment. If reCAPTCHA is unavailable, ChipNotion can still store your application but will not send the automatic receipt. ChipNotion also applies short-lived rate limits using versioned keyed hashes of the source IP and normalized email address; the limiter never stores the raw IP address or email address in its security buckets.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information only for as long as needed to assess and manage the application, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your application.
